Using EDGELIB, basic shapes can easily be drawn on a 2D surface. This includes putting pixels, drawing lines, rectangles, ovals and polygons.

Rectangles, ovals and polygons can be filled with a solid color. Rectangles and polygons can also be filled with a gradient with optional dithering. Additional color filters for drawing primitives with special effects are available too.
